Job Location

This role is remote while we work in a virtual environment during Covid-19. The long-term requirement of this position is to work out of our London office. 

Required Languages

  • Both professional level German and French (written and spoken) is required.
  • Native German is desired

Job Summary

The Venue Project Manager will assist in coordinating VDR projects and provide customer service to high profile clients from Investment Banks, Law Firms and Corporations. The Project Manager will use their knowledge of the use of virtual data rooms (VDRs) for external VDR clients and internal sales representatives. The Project Manager will work with both Sales and Operations and will assist in initiating and managing multiple, simultaneous client VDR start-ups. The Project Manager will assist with client presentations/pitches and project demonstrations, will respond to technical questions and will provide support during implementations.


•    Assist with managing projects for and with clients.
•    Conduct external customer training appropriate to audience, via web or in-person meetings
•    Manage day to day European data rooms and requests.
•    Assist all clients (admin and end users) with any production or technical issues and manage the process to resolution.
•    Provide clients with front line system and telephone support in delivering and supporting Donnelley Financial Solutions Venue service for European clients, satisfying user needs and resolving technical issues.
•    Manage the project closing process, including archives and surveys
•    Assist with projects from across the European Venue team.
•    Assist in ensuring billing information is accurate.
•    Compiling and communicating system-related feedback, enhancement requests and functional needs back to IT and the project team, to enable a continually improving system and support processes.
•    Participate in expansion of platform discovery


•    Ideally, a minimum one year of business enabled environments with an emphasis on experience with client interaction and high level of customer service in a professional manner but not necessary.
•    The ability to establish trusted relationships with DFIN customers.
•    French and German Speaker – with English.
•    Customer Service mentality in a virtual environment.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as effective interpersonal skills and proactive approach to sales and support.
•    Project Management experience would be good, but not necessary.
•    Excellent computer skills (proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with web applications);
•    Good attention to detail;
•    Good time management and ability to work under pressure;
•    Flexibility in working attitude, including willingness to travel
