Apply in-depth project management experience as it relates to the Mutual Fund Accounting and Reporting industry (both business and technology) to understand client business needs associated with the implementation of ArcPro/ArcReporting. Provide subject matter, technical, and customer assistance to clients on the implementation and configuration of new and existing customers using the company’s proprietary ArcPro/ArcReporting financial reporting, document management, composition, and workflow systems.  Balance workloads to ensure project deliverables are met.  Work with the project leader as primary contact for ArcPro/ArcReporting configuration specifications and point person for ongoing support and issue management throughout the implementation.  Partner with senior staff to be an escalation point for other members of the implementation team to assist with tracking client service requests, issue research, and solution analysis. 


Work assignments are typically both a mix of routine and non-routine work that may require deviation from accepted practice and procedures to complete given the wide variety of circumstances encountered in the job. Work is reviewed primarily for end results and is performed under general guidelines or procedures which include administrative directives in the form of rules, policies, and established precedents pertinent to the assignment. Ability to establish own priorities, with direction from senior staff members.

  • Lead clients and implementation team through a successful ArcPro/ArcReporting implementation from Discovery to LIVE production cycle with a complete transition to support.
  • Coordinate with clients and implementation team to analyze client’s requirements and determine build strategy within ArcPro/ArcReporting. Analyze and review the customer requirements and define the scope of the overall project.  
  • Pull together the appropriate resources/departments required to successfully implement a customer.
  • Estimate time frames and resources with the implementation team (configuration, templates, data, graphics, output rules, etc.) required to successfully complete an implementation.
  • Create a comprehensive project schedule to manage client requirements and timing expectations.
  • Maintain the project schedule for all project activities and conduct regular status checks to assess progress against the project schedule. Record project changes and impacts and adjusts project schedule and assignments as required.
  • Record and track assignments for the implementation. Monitor implementation team workloads to determine the proper balance of projects assigned to ensure projects will meet deadlines.
  • Communicate implementation status to appropriate stakeholders on a weekly basis, detailing progress, maintaining scope and requirements, and working through risks/setbacks. Manage customer expectations and ensure the completed work meets customer SOW and complies with company standards.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Communicate to internal senior management on a weekly basis utilizing SmartSheet. Focusing on progress, fund counts, timing, and weekly comments.
  • Participate in the communication of all process changes and updates related to new workflows or system upgrades/implementations.
  • May assist with planning UAT testing related to version updates to ensure a seamless product migration. Provide feedback on product functionality enhancements based on interactions with customers.
  • Partner with client success manager to facilitate a successful transition to support.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through daily contact with internal parties, external clients, and third-party data providers
  • Act as a resource to the implementation team for escalated issues, advice, and guidance on handling unique business issues
  • Participate in process improvement discussions and working groups with internal and external interests

Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to functional work or role with 3-5 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
  • Industry experience related to investment management/fund financial reporting or regulatory filing is preferred.
  • Project Management experience is a plus.
  • Introductory experience in software implementation and support is preferred. May possess additional education certification in this level.
  • Must have advanced knowledge of technology including computers and software programs such as MS Office or MAC word processing, spreadsheets, or other programs specific to the job to complete job duties successfully.
  • Experience with SmartSheet is a plus.
  • Experience with Office 365 is a plus.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments and with clients when completing assignments.

  • Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustments to meet business needs.
  • Able to apply broad work experience and knowledge when analyzing complex problems. Must be able consistently to identify critical elements, variables, and alternatives to develop solutions during the lifecycle of a project.  Must be able to organize/prioritize existing resources and incorporate new information, as needed, to implement the most effective solutions.
  • Able to communicate clearly and courteously with those who need to know about decisions/actions/problems.  Able to apply excellent business acumen and collaborative skills when resolving problems.
  • Must be able to modify communication style both formal and informal to match the appropriate level of the audience targeted. Requires a strong understanding of the impact of a message on the organization or customer. Able to write with the clarity and precision necessary for the work being performed.
  • PMP certification is helpful but not required
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary/requested
