Short Description

Network Production Control is responsible for coordinating Composition Services with Customer Service and Composition Teams to ensure accurate and on-time delivery to the client by performing the following duties.

Work Week: The workweek may be Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat post-training/mentoring period

Shift Hours: 2nd shift  

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use the Capacity Monitor System (“CMS”) to schedule and monitor Composition cycles
• Monitor CMS for problem cycles and resolve
• Ensure QTA and Overnight assignments and helpout requests are scheduled to correct sites within department SLAs/guidelines
• Evaluate Customer Service work orders and determine the appropriate Manufacturing Site
• Respond quickly to all queries/requests using E-mail, Instant Messaging or Phone
• Ensure NPC Group Mailbox is managed appropriately
• Create production plans to meet on-time delivery and client expectations
• Ensure all advances (including Overnights) are assigned to the appropriate Manufacturing Site and that the Manufacturing Site is informed and prepared
• Partner with Customer Service to determine priorities and solve problems
• Escalate priority jobs/Same Day EDGAR Filings (“SDEFs”) with Manufacturing Sites as needed to meet critical deadlines
• Monitor jobs throughout production and provide updates to Customer Service on request
• Monitor flagged/priority jobs by requesting status updates from Composition Teams
• Review all Late Job Reports for accuracy, any unreported Lates in CMS, jobs coming due in CMS and follow-up until resolved/delivered
• Manage resolution of issues escalated to NPC with appropriate escalation managers.
• Manage Outages according to established protocols
• Compile Composition data for Client FINRA requests, organize and return to Customer Service within requested deadline.
• Create various reports using CMS, JobPro and OnePlace as requested by DFS Leadership.
• Keep up to date with all assignment strategies/rules and execute to meet budgeted goals.
• Use JobPro Hitsheets, JobPro Process Monitor, OnePlace, SENDD and PowerBI to manage work and provide accurate information
• Research Service Issues and formal Service Reports (SRs) as requested

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Composition 

  • Strong knowledge of Composition Process, Products and Services

  • Strong knowledge of Capacity Monitor System (“CMS”)

  • Strong knowledge of Customer Service Process and OnePlace Work Orders

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication skills (verbal/written)

  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines

  • Ability to manage complex problems

  • Strong skill sets in Windows environment, especially Word and Excel

  • Position requires changing shift hours occasionally

  • Position requires working one day per weekend for a minimum of 45 weekends per year

  • Position requires working overtime during peak periods

  • Position requires working holiday shifts on a rotating basis

  • PowerBI programming knowledge is a plus
