Title:  Accounting Analyst - Remote

Summary:

We are seeking a versatile Accounting Analyst to join our talented accounting team.  The ideal candidate will be a collaborator with a solid foundation in Accounting including revenue recognition and account reconciliations, and AP and related analysis.  Core functions will include monthly close responsibilities, internal and external reporting, internal control compliance, variance and ad hoc analyses, Corporate Card program administration, AP analysis and support, and other projects.  This position will interact with cross-functional teams within DFIN and will report to the Accounting Manager.  Additionally, the position offers flexibility and the opportunity to be part of a positive team environment.   This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

• Support the month end close process including preparation of monthly revenue accruals and deferrals, account reconciliations and journal entries. 
• Month end financial reporting and ad hoc analysis.
• Reviewing financial statements for accuracy
• Interpreting and analyzing data and preparing summary reports for management review.
• Assist with quarterly, annual and interim internal and external audit requests.
• Continuous review of internal control procedures to ensure SOX compliance.
• Corporate Card program administration and transaction management
• Support AP with reporting and vendor payment functions.
• Responding quickly and accurately to special reporting and analysis requests
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend changes to management.

Qualifications:

• 3 plus years of accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting

• Excellent knowledge of GAAP accounting
• SAP experience
• Full-cycle Accounts Payable experience

• Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities
• Ability to resolve complex accounting problems. 
• Ability to analyze and summarize financial data and prepare financial reports.
