Summary:
The Venue Sales Associate will assist in growing the new customer base by prospecting and developing relationships within target accounts such as investment banks / Jr. Bankers.
Responsibilities:
- Daily prospecting activity within target accounts such as investment banks / Jr. Bankers
- Participate in the sales process from lead generation to qualification to close.
- Execute strategic plan within designated territory to generate revenue.
- Establish a strong and consistent cadence of in-person meetings, organize networking events and attend conferences to improve brand and client exposure to the Venue product.
- Foster new relationships through outbound efforts and establish positiverelationships with senior executives and decision-makers.
- Develop a plan and prioritize your time to focus on high-impact activities to achieve key performance indicators.
- Cross collaboration with Reps from other areas of DFIN to leverage existing relationships and ensure that all appropriate service offerings are presented to target clients.
- Work closely with both the Venue and GCM sales team to ensure client happiness by serving as the voice of the customer.
- Update Salesforce daily to track activity, client and product insights, account coverage and sales pipeline.
Qualifications:
- 6 to 24 months of general business experience.
- Professional and personal presentation skills.
- Demonstrate personal confidence and resilience.
- Passion and desire to build a career in sales.
- Good levels of responsiveness and customer awareness.
- Good personal organization and discipline. Good follow-through.
- Quick learner and demonstrate a willingness to learn from others.
- Can articulate ideas and arguments clearly and concisely. Able to communicate clearly.
- Comfortable working in a team environment. Maintain a positive attitude.
