Summary:

The Treasury Associate is responsible for maintaining the minimum daily liquidity level and daily cash operations. In addition, the Treasury Associate assists with debt and investment instruments, supports credit agreement compliance, and compiles the short-term cash forecast. Responsibilities will also include cash accounting, global bank account inventory, bank fees, foreign exchange, and ad hoc reports as needed. This position will report to the Senior Treasury Manager. 

Responsibilities:

  • Support daily U.S. and Canada cash operations including input and management of wire transfers, account funding, reconciliation, and accounting
  • Ensure the proper amount of short-term debt or investment to meet the company’s daily liquidity requirements
  • Prepare and review short-term cash flow forecast
  • Management of global bank account and system inventory; ensuring documentation for all bank accounts and bank credential access is maintained and updated on a regular basis
  • Review account analysis statements and provide recommendations to reduce bank fees
  • Prepare the monthly foreign exchange risk profile which involves gathering and analyzing data from several international entities, identifying potential risk areas and provide recommendations to mitigate exposure
  • Debt and interest reconciliation and reporting as necessary
  • Track, monitor, and process letters of credit and guarantees
  • Assist with intercompany loans as necessary
  • Coordinate documentation as required by internal and/or external auditors and maintain records as required under the corporate record retention policy
  • Ensure compliance with key Treasury controls, assist with the update and maintenance of departmental process, control and policy documents, and recommending process efficiencies and improvements
  • Assist in ad hoc projects as needed 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience strongly preferred
  • 2-5 years of related experience in domestic and international treasury, accounting, or finance Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is a plus
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite  
  • Must be self-motivated, flexible, hands-on, and able to work in a fast paced, multitask environment 
  • Must have excellent organizational and time management skills 
  • Detail oriented with a demonstrated ability for accuracy 
  • Excellent communication skills with high proficiency in speaking and writing 
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills 
  • Have a willingness to learn new skills and responsibilities in a high pace changing environment
