Summary

 

At DFIN, we’re building out Marketing to be a fast-paced, digitally-focused, revenue-generating team. To build on this momentum, we’re searching for a highly qualified marketing analyst / coordinator to work on this team. From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting with the development of new initiatives aligned with company goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, advertising, branding, digital marketing, and social media. The marketing coordinator must be an organized multitasker able to handle many diverse projects at once and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support the marketing team with content, marketing plans, digital assets (ads, graphics, sell sheets, etc.), administrative support, and special projects.
  • Ensure all marketing projects are planned and tracked in SmartSheet and executed on time.
  • Support social media programs coordinating monthly social calendar, gathering messaging points and graphic design assets to post daily. 
  • Track marketing budget, create POs and submit invoice for payment.  Ensure spend is within budget.  
  • Submit web edits and new web content requests to IT / web design team. 
  • Research target personas for contact acquisition and maintain distribution lists.
  • Provide support and coordination functions for marketing programs including tradeshows, events, direct marketing efforts, sales meetings, etc.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing
  • 2-4 years of professional writing and digital engagement experience
  • A high degree of organization, initiative, and self-motivation
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of a cohesive, high performing team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A passion for creativity, teamwork, and serving our internal customers
  • A strong work ethic and sense of humor, as well as an outgoing, positive personality
  • Strong MS Office applications skills to include, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams & Powerpoint.
  • Social media experience, including familiarity with Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, etc.
