Donnelley Financial Solutions is seeking talented and motivated professionals to work directly with the client's sales and marketing team to target, message and sell to key decision makers, while helping manage and grow DFIN's client relationships.
 
The primary role of the Business Development Executive is to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. They must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. They must develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship. They are also required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.

Responsibilities

 

  • A goal-oriented work ethic, committed to achieving performance objectives, individually and as part of your team.
  • Hunt – Research companies for the key decision-makers whose responsibilities are the best match for DFIN client's services.
  • Listen – Leverage data from clients and peers to craft insightful talking points, emails and voicemails which will resonate with your prospects resulting in meetings.
  • Manage a complex sales cycle, starting with the needs assessment process for each prospect, identifying pain points and determining the fit for our solutions
  • Collaborate - Develop and maintain relationships with sales delivery team members including Regional Managing Directors, field Sales Executives, and Deal Managers within your territory
  • Proven track record of B2B solution selling, addressing the needs of various business users including C-suite.
  • Creativity – think outside of the box.  Use different avenues to find information (SEC filings, company websites, Linkedin posts).
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of the product and services associated with the DFIN products.
  • Manage and track sales opportunities and forecasts within Salesforce.com, providing reports to the Director of Sales as requested
  • Meet quarterly and yearly targets.
Qualifications

 

Required Skills:

  • Proficient skill level of the following tools: Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, Sales Automation Software (Salesforce preferred), Outreach (or similar tool), Google Calendar
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

 
Prefered Skills

  • At least 1 year of experience in Saas Sales
