Summary:

In this role, the leader will act as a subject matter expert in the compliance and governance sector, conduct research on regulatory disclosure requirements to expand market opportunities, and present interpretation, findings, and recommendations on proposed rules to management and market participants.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on proposed rules and market changes to understand the impact on financial reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on proposed regulations to determine an effective course of action.
  • Liaison with FDTA regulators and incorporate FDTA regulations into DFIN’s SaaS solutions.
  • Draft and deliver content on research performed to management and market participants.
  • Propose recommendations on integrating the regulation into the SaaS solutions offered.
  • Moderate panels and provide subject matter expertise on the compliance and governance sector.
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of the products and services associated with the company’s global capital market services.
  • Participate in industry groups and follow global compliance and governance changes.
  • Advise customers about additional internal and external offerings.
  • Advocate on behalf of the client when interfacing with internal departments.
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise to sales teams.
  • Lead the Solution Development team.

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • 10+ years of SEC and regulatory expertise/experience.
  • Working knowledge of the IPO, compliance, and transaction market disclosure process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superior presentation skills.
