The Software Support Engineer is an extension of the software engineering team and provides technical support for the products and services we create. This role requires you to build intimate knowledge of our application functionality, architecture, code base and hosting infrastructure. You will be responding to tickets that are submitted by our customer service team related to our external client needs. Your goal is twofold: To resolve our customers' critical issues hampering usage of our applications and develop software-based solutions to prevent future issues.


This role is perfect for a logical, detail-oriented Engineer who enjoys troubleshooting puzzles and developing future-proof solutions.


  • Respond to client-based application issues to understand business expectation of the functionality
  • Learn and access data storage and source code for respective application
  • Debug functionality in sandbox environment to pinpoint problem area
  • Develop code-based solutions for check-in and future deployment
  • Conceive creative workarounds for short term client solutions
  • Connect to production systems and monitoring tools to identify performance bottlenecks
  • Optimize SQL Queries and Stored Procedures
  • Modify SQL Data as needed to assist completion of production business tasks
  • Contribute to the SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle) Process along with Project Managers
  • Document Runbooks and Best Practices to further collective team knowledge
  • Analyze logs to identify trends, track errors and provide suggestions for improvement


  • Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with C#/.NET, SQL Database, React
  • Experience with Azure Cloud a plus
  • Ability to demonstrate logical problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions
  • Desire to learn and enhance technical skillset
  • Proven ability as a communicator and team contributor
