Title:  Material Handler (Onsite Production Worker)

Short Description:

An entry-level position in our finishing and fulfillment center, with room for growth. This position requires working a 2nd shift schedule.

Physical Demands:

The job requires the ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Responsibilities

• Use standard processes and preventative measures to work safely.
• Remove, feed, jog, and stack printed materials, folded signatures, or other in process products from production machines.
• Inspect product for quality.
• Use procedures, job instructions and mail sortation runner to sort mail.
• Complete appropriate documentation for job orders.
• Work independently and in a team setting, with minimal direction.
• This position includes some overtime requirements.

Qualifications

• Prior work experience in a manufacturing setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Mechanically inclined, with a desire and the ability to develop into a Bindery Operator position.
• Ability to problem solve.
• Good communication skills, verbal and in writing.
• Self-managed and motivated; organized and detail oriented.
• Prior experience working in a mail warehouse/bindery.
