As an Operation Engineer, you’ll contribute to projects' production support and testing features end to end, understand how we operate our systems, and help make sure our technology grows and doesn’t become a big pile of tech debt.
Responsibilities:
- Work side by side with the Operation Team to troubleshoot and assist with problems.
- Perform system updates, and application rollouts, document operation procedures, troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend preventative measures.
- Provide programming support, enhancement, and testing on custom-developed applications.
- Work with data models and object-relational database mapping, while producing complex reports.
- Engineer for simplicity, reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, reusability, and performance.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of five years of knowledge and hands-on SQL & ETL development experience.
- Experience with .Net Framework, ASP.Net, C#, SQL, Web Services/Web API, RESTful web services, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, GitHub etc.
- Experience with administrating SQL databases / RedPoint and maintaining server availability and backup management.
- Experience working in a continuous integration and deployment environment.
- Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills, strong customer focus, ability to juggle many tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Azure Services Domain Skills will be a plus.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
