Position Title: Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Data Manager

Job Description and Requirements

CRM & Data Manager, Washington D.C.: Responsible for managing the design, development, and deployment of technical solutions to maintain the company’s Salesforce.com (Sales and Service Cloud) System. Develop and implement Salesforce best practices and changes using both business processes and development methodologies to improve work flow. Design and implement Salesforce.com change requests and new features, as well as troubleshoot complex cross-system issues to restore normal functioning. Develop architecture plans, technology planning and execution, and policy development and maintenance. Apply knowledge of information processing, data modeling principles, data management practices, and system interaction patterns and interfaces to evaluate existing technical architectures and recommend alternative tools, technologies, and approaches for implementation. Liaise with the business analyst team to develop and revise technical specifications and requirements documentation, system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Participate in other technology life-cycle projects, including technology evaluation, selection, implementation, support and retirement/replacement. Work directly with executives to define high-level business process changes and ensure agreement on system principles. Deliver presentations and proposals on the strategic direction of revenue and customer relationship management (CRM) technologies.

Minimum Requirements: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business or related field, plus 5 years of experience within the Information Technology industry. Alternatively, in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, employer will accept 2 additional years of work experience.
 

Of the required experience, must have 4 years of experience in each of the following:

 

  • Experience in Salesforce design and development which includes declarative and custom development (Apex, Visualforce); and
  • Experience in utilizing Microsoft SQL and SOQL.

 

Must have a certification in each of the following: Salesforce Administrator, Salesforce Platform Developer I, and Salesforce Application Architect.
